PFUJ workshop today (May 17)
KARACHI, May 17 2006: A workshop on ‘Media coverage of India and the Indians’ organised by the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists(PFUJ) will be held at the Karachi Press Club , on May 17 from 10 am to 4 pm. According to a PFUJ press release, the one-day workshop is being held to mark the launch of a project, which is being run in India and Pakistan simultaneously under the supervision of the International Federal of Journalists (IFU).
PFUJ and IFJ will also organise a five- day workshop on ‘Reporting on conflicts’, by the end of June in Karachi followed by similar workshop in Lahore. IFJ”s affiliate unions in India will organise similar kind of workshops in different cities of India.
