Passport scam accused sent to jail on 14-day remand
LAHORE: Civil Court Judge Mati-ur-Rehman on Saturday sent to jail Abid Chuadhary and Abdul Raqeeb, who are allegedly involved in London Olympics passport scam, on 14-day judicial remand.
On Saturday, FIA officials produced Abid Chaudhary and Abdul Raqeeb of a travel agency before the civil court. FIA submitted that investigation against the accused had been completed and they were no more required. Abid Chaudhary stated that he was innocent and that the real culprit was Muhammad Ali Asad. On this, the court has sent the accused to jail on 14-day judicial remand.
