MULTAN: The Khanewal police is looking for a woman who has been missing for three days after her in-laws disgraced her in the name of honor in Mochiwala, Bherowal.

In line with the decision of the family panchayat, the in-laws of Najma Bibi, 24, cut her hair, blackened her face and paraded her in the streets for having relations with a man of the same village.

Kohna SHO Zulfiqar said the woman had been missing after the incident and her in-laws claimed that Najma and her two children were shifted to her parents’ at Chak 88/10R by her husband, a truck driver.
