Pakistani paintings exhibit at Indonesian gallery
Major group paintings exhibition of Pakistani artists is in progress at the Indonesian National Gallery Central Jakarta and drawing good crowd including Pakistani community members. According to a message received here from Jakarta, the group art show titled “A Glimpse in to Pakistani Art Works” has been organised by Pakistan Embassy.
The exhibition got underway on February 14 after it was inaugurated by Pakistan Ambassador Sanaullah and is scheduled to continue till February 28. The two noted Pakistani artists Jimmy Engineer and Ghulam Rasool, as well as by Ambassador Sanaullah and his wife Fauzia Mazhar Sana, who is Pakistan’s Ambassador to the Netherlands, and Ayesha Khan, a Pakistani artist who has been living in Indonesia for ten years, are displaying their paintings.
