Pakistan to hold global information technology (IT) moot
ISLAMABAD- Pakistan will hold major International IT conference “E-globe” in Karachi in November this year.
At the beginning of this year, Pakistan held a major International IT exhibition in Karachi in which more than 300 local and international companies and about 250 delegations participated. The E-globe conference will be a continuation of the IT conference. PTV reported.
It is expected the conference would attract experts and buyers from across the globe and bring regional and global IT companies to Pakistan. The conference will also provide an opportunity to local IT companies to enhance their software exports.
State of the art digital appliances, networking and software technologies will be put on display during the conference.
Experts said such events are necessary for the development of IT in the country. Pakistan in future can become the hub of information technology related activities, they added.
