Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation (PBC) to expand FM-101 network
ISAMABAD- The Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation (PBC) will establish four new FM101 radio stations in Sukkur, Sialkot, Gujranwala and Gujrat this year. The board of directors of the PBC has approved the plan for FM101 network expansion.
According to the expansion plan, in the first phase the PBC will establish FM-101 stations in only those cities where Radio Pakistan has no station at present. All the FM-101 stations are also proposed to be linked through a networking arrangement to cater to the requirements of a national FM network programme, whenever required.
