Pak photo-journalists work displayed in Japan
KARACHI: Pakistan Association of Photojurnalists Saturday started a photo exhibition in Japanese capital Tokyo, PAPJ founder Zahid Hussain told The Nation on Saturday.
He said the exhibition is being arranged following the Pakistan Week in which Pakistani Ambassador Noor Muhammad Jadmani and president of the Japan Professional Photographers Society and a large number of journalists participated recently.
Hussain said that around one hundred photographers AE pictures have been displayed in the exhibition that will reflect the culture of all the four provinces of the country.
The exhibition is part of the Pakistan Day celebrations in Japan, he told this scribe.
He mentioned that the exhibition would strengthen the relationship of Pakistan and Japan and would project the soft image of the country. Zahid Hussain said that the Pakistani Photographers would get training in Japan with the cooperation of the Japanese Consulate.
It is pertinent to mention here that it is the first exhibition of the photojournalists’ works.
