Pak filmmaker to attend journalist-meet in Korea
KARACHI: A Karachi-based photojournalist and filmmaker Rahul Aijaz will represent Pakistan at a four-day Asian Journalists’ Culture Forum organised by South Korea’s Asia Journalists’ Association (AJA) in Gwangju City, Korea, on September 4 (today). The forum will discuss media’s role in communication between the Asian cultures, said a statement issued on Tuesday. The executive members of AJA and journalists from major Asian media organisations will be participating in this conference. Aijaz will give presentations on culture complexes and other such facilities existing in Pakistan, and the role of media in communication between Asian cultures. The culture forum is organised in connection with the opening of Gwangju Culture Complex built by the government of Republic of Korea.
