Noted columnist Dr Siddiqui passes away
KARACHI: Scholar, critic and columnist Dr Muhammad Ali Siddiqui passed away here on Wednesday, family members said. He was 75.
He remained admitted at a local hospital for the last two weeks. Late Dr Siddiqui was contributing columns with Daily Dawn since 60s and had remained the Director of the Quaid-i-Azam Academy. Currently, he was the President of the Anjuman Tarraqui Pasand Musanafeen. The `Soyem’ will be held after Friday prayers at Masjid Farooq-i-Azam, North Nazimabad.
