Newsman’s attacker at large
NAROWAL, March 27 2006: Narowal police have failed to arrest a man who stabbed a local journalist on Saturday March 25 morning. An addict, Mazhar Husain alias Bablo had stabbed Arif Mahmood, a local daily correspondent, for refusing to give him money for drugs. Arif suffered serious injuries and was shifted to Lahore from the Narowal DHQ hospital due to his critical condition.
The Narowal city police have registered a criminal case against the addict.
