New Media Women Publisher Journalists Organization (MWPJO) office-bearers
KARACHI- Media Women Publisher and Journalists Organization (MWPJO) declared following candidates elected unopposed for the term 2000-2002 as officer bearers and executive committee members of the organization in an annual general body meeting (AGM) held at Arts Council Karachi.
Those elected included Khurshid Hyder (Dawn) President, Razia Sultan (Asas) Senior Vice President. Zeba Burney (Nawa-e-Waqt) Senior Vice President, Soofia Yazdani (Nawa-eWaqt) Vice President, Malka Afroze Rohila (Monthly Aaraf) Vice President. Rubina Jabbar (The News) General Secretary, Sehar Hassan (Daily Khabrain) Joint Secretary Shaheen Zameer (T.V News Caster) Joint Secretary, Tahira Muzzafar (Quarterly Pakistan Vision News), Finance Secretary and others.
The newly elected members of executive committee are Samina Qureshi, Musarrat Farooqui, Rubina Rasheed, Ghazala Younas and Musarrat Jabeen Syed, Yasmin Taha, Rani Khawaja Rasheeda Afghan, Tahmina Arshad Nomani, Salma Murad and Nargis Rashid.
