New IT-based projects to be introduced under IPO Pakistan
ISLAMABAD: The Chairman Intellectual Property Organisation of Pakistan and member National Assembly Hameed Ullah Jan Afridi has said that new IT based projects will be introduced in IPO Pakistan to facilitate and update the status of applications, which had been filed for registration of IP rights.
He stated this while presiding a meeting of IP officials and IT experts held at IPO headquarters on Friday.
The meeting was attended by Executive Director Umer Dad Afridi, directors Messaq Arif, Inam Muhammad, Muhammad Ismail and Chaudhry Asfand Ali and other officials of IPO.
The Director General IPO Sajjad Ahmad elaborated the features of new IT based projects and said that various initiatives are under process in accordance with the successful models of developed countries.
