‘Nadra to provide smart card to employees of Sindh government’
Divisional Commissioner Hyderabad Ahmed Bux Narejo has said that a Registration Cell (DATA BASE) is being established in Commission rate Secretariat with the collaboration of Nadra to prepare and provide Smart Card to each employee of Sindh government.
This he informed while presiding over a meeting regarding issuance of smart cards to employees of Sindh government by Nadra held at his main office Shahbaz Building Hyderabad here on Thursday. He said that this 6 months project to be started from October 15, 2012 where departmental wise smart cards would be issued to the all employees of Sindh government.
He said that this smart card would carry all information data about the employee and by implementation of this scheme duplication in service sector could be avoided. He said that this card would be very beneficial and helpful not only the employee himself but also document the service record of all the government employees for future policies and analysis by the government. The Commissioner assured the officers of Nadra that they would be facilitated accordingly and also stressed upon them to expedite work so that this scheme could be completed within 6 months.
