Nadra receives Rs254.39m from foreign countries
Islamabad: National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) had received an amount of Rs254.39 million from foreign countries for providing certain project services.
Official sources told this agency here Wednesday that a sum of Rs234.84 million were received by the Authority from Nigeria, Kenya, Sudan and Bangladesh for project services rendered during the last five years.
The amount was utilized for carrying out the activities of these projects in the said countries and to meet the expenses of Nadra, they said.
They further said that an amount of Rs19.53 million were received from foreign missions of Saudi Arabia in Pakistan for verification services during the said period.
The sources said that a sum of Rs53,562,796 were spent on renovation of the Chairman and other offices of Nadra during the last five years.
