Musharraf sympathizes with families of blast victims

ISLAMABAD- The Chief Executive General Pervez Musharraf has expressed his deepest sympathies with the famlies of the two sales staff of Nawa-e-Waqt who died in the bomb blast in the daily’s Sales Office in Karachi last Monday.

He also extended his best wishes for the earliest recovery of the injured. Directing the Ministry of Information and Media Development to extend monetary relief of Rs 100,000 each to the families of the two employees who lost their lives in the bomb blast and Rs 50,000 to each of the injured, the Chief Executive asked the Information Secretary to convey his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.

The Chief Executive has already directed the Ministry of Interior and the Government of Sindh to employ all available means to apprehend the terrorists behind the bomb explosion.

Meanwhile, Sindh Governor Mohammadmian Soomro has announced compensation of Rs 200,000 for the deceased and Rs 25,000 for the injured of bomb blast.

The Governor also directed Commissioner Karachi to take special care of the injured persons and ensure proper medical treatment.

In this regard an injured Sajid was shifted to National Hospital at his own will on government expenses.
