Murdered journalist: Facebook accounts spreading negativity blocked
HARIPUR: The Facebook accounts spreading negativity and hatred on social media about the murdered journalist Bakhshish Elahi are being blocked after his murder.
The social and media circles of Haripur have discovered the Facebook accounts involved in negative propaganda against the murdered journalist, requesting that these accounts must be thoroughly investigated in the process of interrogation.
According to the sources, the negative propaganda gained momentum through some fake Facebook profiles, including ‘Journalistic evil’ and many others.
Bakhshish Elahi had updated a status on his Facebook profile a day or two before his murder. He had updated that the people running fake Facebook accounts against him were discovered. However, he was brutally murdered by unidentified armed men after updating this post.
The social and media circles of Haripur have demanded the Ministry of Interior and law enforcement institutions to resolve the case.
