Mubarak Shah Zuberi passes away
Karachi: Mubarak Shah Zuberi, a prominent social figure of Karachi and the Pakistani community in the US, died here on Thursday. He had been under treatment at a hospital for multiple illnesses for the past one week.
His funeral procession will start from his residence in Askari-II and the Namaz-e-Janza will be held at Rehmani Masjid, Tariq Road, at Zohr time. He will be laid to rest in the PECHS graveyard.
Zuberi was the secretary of Dr Ziauddin Memorial Society and an active member of the Sindh Red Crescent Society.
He played a prominent role in the building of the Hilal-e-Ahmer Centre at Tin
Talwar, Clifton, as well as in the establishment of the blood bank.
