MQM chief apologies to media persons
LONDON: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief, Altaf Hussain, has said some anchorpersons had given some derogatory remarks about some senior and respectable persons during their talk shows.
He asked them that they might criticise people as it was their right being journalists, but they had no right to ridicule them. In a statement on Thursday, the MQM chief said that if his remarks or any words of his statement had hurt the feelings of those anchorpersons or journalists, he wanted to tender an unconditional apology to them and take back his words as he respected the journalist community from the core of his heart.
