Mother appeals to PM, CM for arrest of daughter’s killers

ISLAMABAD – Bashiran Bibi, dweller of district Nankana, has pleaded Prime Minster Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani and Chief Minster Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif on Thursday to direct police to bring the influential murderers of her daughter Kaneez Fatima, 30, to justice.

Bashiran, while talking to the media person at Islamabad Press Club (Camp Office) alleged that accused Jaffar Phabbi, Hussain Dogar, Hassan Dogar, Ali Sher and Ali Abbas had killed her daughter on June 6 this year. She said that despite several requests but the area police did not arrest the accused and the district nazim was also at their back. She said that she was forced to migrate and take refuge in her relatives’ house located in Islamabad due to the high influence of the accused criminals.

The rift between the victim and accused started when the former’s horse entered the latter’s field. The verbal clash turned violent when Jaffar Phabbi injured the deceased’s cousin, Farooq. Hussain Dogar is already charged with 2 murders and facing the court trial in this regard. She alleged that she was being threatened by the accused to repeal the case.

“I appeal to PM Yousaf Raza Gillani, CM Punjab Shabaz Shariff, Governor Punjab Salman Taseer and Advisor to Interior Minister Rehman Malik to order police to take stern actions against the killers of my daughter,” said Bashiran Bibi.
