Media stopped from covering Wana operation
WANA – Political Authorities in South Waziristan have imposed ban on media personnel to cover ongoing military operation against terrorists hiding in Wana.
Under the decision the journalists have been barred from attending the Jirga for collecting information in connection with ongoing military operation against terrorists and also from entering the areas where the security forces are continuing operation against terrorists.
Meanwhile local journalists have boycotted and warned of holding protest against political authorities.
