Media role important in social reformation
NAROWAL – Media can play a key role in social reformation, said District Nazim Javaid Safdar Kahloon while talking to a delegation of journalists.
He said journalists should use power of pen to eradicate evil from the society and work for the betterment and welfare of the human beings.
The nazim said the district government had done a record development work to raise the living standard of the people. He said he wanted to complete the projects of Narowal Public School and Information Technology University at Narowal before the end of the present tenure. He said construction of a new road to Lahore along with the railway track, construction of District Headquarters hospital and provision of sui gas facility to Narowal were also under consideration. The nazim said he had put a case before the provincial as well as the federal government that Narowal be declared a tax-free industrial zone. He said he wanted to promote industry to eliminate unemployment from the district.
