Master’s and PhD scholarship: Fulbright deadline extends to June 1
The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) extend the application deadline for the 2016 Fulbright Masters and PhD programme to June 1, 2015.
According to a statement issued on Friday, the extension will allow more eligible applicants to apply for the scholarship. Over 150 scholarships will be awarded to study at the best universities in USA.
In addition to the 183 students who will depart for the US in the fall of 2015, 390 students from Pakistan currently study in the US on Fulbright awards.
Each year, the US government sends more than 700 students to academic exchange programs and another 500 professionals to shorter, work-related programmes in the US.
Since the inception of USEFP over 64 years ago, over 5,000 Pakistanis have gone on USEFP-administered exchange programmes.
