Marriyum condoles Sharif Farooq’s death
Minister of State for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage, Marriyum Aurangzeb on Saturday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of veteran journalist Sharif Farooq. In her message, she said Sharif Farooq always pursued high journalistic traditions and values. She said that his contributions as a member of Pakistan Movement would be remembered forever. Sharif Farooq died in Peshawar on Saturday after suffering from protracted illness. He authored several books on Pakistan Movement.
