Man ‘kills’ wife, mother-in-law in Pishin
QUETTA: A man reportedly shot dead his wife and mother-in-law over a petty issue in Pishin district of Balochistan on Tuesday.
Sources said that Muhammad Afzal, a resident of Qilli Tarata, opened fire on his wife, Bibi Zhora, and mother-in-law, Bibi Feroza.
Both the women reportedly died instantly, while the accused fled. Local authorities rushed to the crime scene and moved the bodies to a nearby hospital for autopsies, after which they were handed over to their relatives. Local authorities said the motive behind the crime could have been a domestic dispute, and added that police were searching for the accused. A case has been registered, and investigation is underway.
