Man kills wife
LAHORE: A man allegedly slaughtered his wife at their house in the Sandha Police precincts on Wednesday.
According to the police, Ghazala was found dead early on Wednesday morning in the couple’s rented house in Nehar Pura, Bund Road. Investigation Officer Inspector Chaudhry Muhammad Arif said they had received information about the murder from the victim’s sister, Shehnaz Bibi.
The police reached the crime scene and found the body, which was lying in a pool of blood. He said they had registered a first information report (FIR) against the accused, Rizwan, on the complaint of Shehnaz. Shehnaz said that her sister, Ghazala, had married Rizwan three years ago. But, she said they had developed differences soon after and Rizwan even threatened to kill her.
