Man kills wife’s ‘lover’
LAHORE: A man stabbed to death a 25-year-old to death for allegedly having an affair with his wife in the Ghaziabad Police precincts on Wednesday.
Police said Abid Ali suspected the youth Babar Ali was having an affair with his wife. They said Babar often visited the locality where Abid lived, and the latter had warned him against it.
Yesterday, Abid got angry when he saw Babar in the vicinity. Police said Abid and an unidentified friend accosted Babar in a nearby market, and repeatedly struck him with a knife. The two managed to flee the scene. Babar was taken to Mayo Hospital, but he died on the way. The police shifted the body to the city morgue for autopsy and registered a case against Abid and his friend on the complaint of Babar’s father.
