Man kills mother over Karo Kari
KHAIRPUR: A man killed his mother in Ghotki on Wednesday allegedly over Karo Kari and fled, police said. The accused shot dead his mother Habiban over Karo Kari in the limits of the Ghotki police station.
Meanwhile, police recovered a girl from a kidnapper, police sources said. Sumaira, who belongs to village Paiji of Sorah town in Khairpur district, said that she was sold by someone to Khuda Bakhsh Arain. She alleged that her kidnapper attempted to harass her.
Police registered a case and recorded her statement. She was later handed over to her parents.
