Man kills married sister ‘for honour’
SUKKUR: A man allegedly killed his married sister in Amir Bux Kalhoro village within the remit of the Mirpur Mathelo police station of Ghotki district on Monday.
Police said that the suspect, Shah Baig, shot dead his sister, Bhagul, wife of Manjhi Naseerani, in the name of honour after she was accused of having illicit relations with a resident of Kashmore.
They said Shah Baig went to house of his sister and her husband and shot her dead, adding that he fled the scene after committing the crime. Police took the body into custody and got a post-mortem examination performed at the Taluka Hospital Daharki. The body was later handed over to her heirs, living in Kashmore.
No case was registered till late Monday evening.
