Man chops off wife’s nose, lips for ‘honour’
DERA GHAZI KHAN: A man chopped off nose and lips of his wife on suspicion of illicit relations in tribal area of Dera Ghazi Khan on Sunday.
According to family members of the woman, Qadir Bakhsh Baloch allegedly chopped off the nose and lips of his wife Salma at Darug village. Relatives of the victim brought the woman to the Taunsa Sharif Tehsil Headquarters Hospital for treatment, but she was referred to the Nishtar Hospital, Multan. The Border Military Police in-charge said an FIR had been lodged and raids were being conducted to arrest the accused.
