Local IT firm wins international award
KARACHI, March 02, 2006: The Digital TV Log application developed by Media Bank (Pvt) Ltd has won the top prize in the Media & Entertainment category of the Asia Pacific Information and Communications Technology Awards (APICTA) 2005 in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
“Awards are only given to the ‘best of the best’,” said Jehan Ara, President Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA) in a statement.
“It competed against multiple products from Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei in this category.”
She said the judges found that Digital TV Log was the only software of its kind in media monitoring and research that offers unmatched transparency and functionality.
