It was also suggested to establish a Majid Nizami Chair in PU while the PEF announced to organise an annual international Majid Nizami Mushaira.

Majid Nizami in his address thanked the PEF for arranging the ceremony and pledged to continue his efforts towards establishing an Islamic democratic welfare state. He at the same time urged the rulers to adopt simplicity. “India has blocked the water of Pakistan but our rulers are continuing with their luxurious activities,” he added.
