KUJ Position of French Journalists:
KARACHI: The Karachi Union of Journalist on Tuesday called the government to seek amicable resolution of the French journalists and release of Pakistani journalist.
In the second resolution the KUJ lauded the efforts of the MQM with regarded to the wage award, and requested the chief justice of Pakistan for speedy hearing on a pending appeal on the award, a press release of the union said.
The KUJ executive committee meeting, which was held under the chairmanship of KUJ president Mazhar Abbad, urged president Musharraf to issue directives for the implementations. The KUJ also appealed to the chief justice of Pakistan for early and regular hearing of the pending petition
