KP government to setup 10 FM radio stations
PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa government has decided to setup 10 FM radio stations in the current fiscal year, while a feasibility study for launching of a TV station would also be prepared in the current fiscal year.
According to budget document of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa here, a media colony would be established in Mardan for journalist community.
The government has earmarked Rs 348 million for media sector uplift in the budget. Media in the present era has achieved a unique importance and the government has decided to provide special incentives to journalists so that they could perform their duties with more devotion.
