Karo Kari claims four more lives
SUKKUR, May 17 2006: Four persons of a family including two women were killed over old Karo Kari dispute in village Somano Kharoos Jatoi in Lakhi Ghulam Shah District Shikarpur on May 14(Sunday) night.
Reports said that more than a dozen armed persons after entering into the house opened indiscriminate firing and killed Ms Waziran w/o Nabhao Kharoos, her son Muhammad Hassan Kharoos 8, nephew Bakhtawar w/o Muhammad Mithal Kharoos on the spot, while Ghulam Kharoos s/o Ali Murad Kharoos, Rajab Ali s/o Somano Kharoos, and Ms Jamal were injured. The injured were later shifted to Chandka Medical Hospital Larkana where Ghulam Rasool s/o Ali Murad Kharoos succumbed to his injuries. The killing of four persons is said to be the result of old Karo Kari dispute.
