Karachi Municipal Corporation staffers to be given IT training

Karachi: Senior Director Information Technology Masood Alam has said that information technology is an important need of the modern era and therefore any organisation without IT is considered incomplete.This he said while talking to officers after assuming his charge as senior IT director of the Karachi Municipal Corporation (KMC).He directed the officials to arrange latest IT training for KMC employees so as to improve their performance and said the computer training centre would be developed on modern lines.The IT officers briefed him regarding training courses organised by the department for KMC employees.

Transfers, postings

Administrator Municipal Corporation (KMC) Muhammad Hussain Syed has ordered transfers and postings of various officers.

According to a press release issued here on Friday, Shariq Ilyas has been given the charge of Project Director Lines Area. Dr AD Sajnani has been given the charge of directorcoordination while Mansoor Qazi has been posted as director internal audit.

Meanwhile, KMC Administrator Muhammad Hussain Syed said that the life of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) “is the best example for us to follow and we could achieve success by following his life”. He said that reciting Naats was the height of humanity and this should continue not only in Ramazan but the whole year.

He expressed these views while addressing as chief guest a Naat Competition organised by the KMC in collaboration with the Pakistan CrescentYouth Organisation for students.

He urged the students to follow Sunnah by seeking knowledge and focus on it.Senior Director Culture, Sports and recreation Rehan Khan, Director Culture Khursheed Shah, Chairman Youth Organization Nadeem Shaikh and other office- bearers were present on this occasion.Administrator Syed gave away prizes to the winners of the Naat competition.
