Journalists walk out of PA
PESHAWAR: Journalists on Tuesday staged a walkout from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly to express their anguish over the murder of senior journalist Syed Salim Shehzad and asked the government to take to task the responsible people at the earliest.
Later, provincial ministers Syed Aqil Shah, Wajid Ali Khan and opposition members came out for talks with the enraged journalists. They said that they themselves were shocked over the killing of the 41-year-old reporter and would support the struggle for bringing his killers to justice.
The journalists later ended their protest on ministers` request.
