Journalists to be charged as per agreed price in housing scheme KARACHI- The Nazim of Karachi City Government, Niamatullah Khan, has announced that the same price of plots in Hawksbay Housing Scheme will be charged from the journalists as had been agreed in contract with the previous government.

KARACHI- The Nazim of Karachi City Government, Niamatullah Khan, has announced that the same price of plots in Hawksbay Housing Scheme will be charged from the journalists as had been agreed in contract with the previous government.

He made the announcement, while speaking at Karachi Press Club (KPC) on the occasion of Independence Day celebration.

Naib-Nazim Muhammad Tariq Hassan was also present on the occasion. Naimatullah stated that every effort would be made for the lease of the KPC.

He said that the city government would do its best for the resolution of problems of the journalists.

The Nazim also announced that the development work at Hawksbay is the responsibility of the government and he would discuss this matter with the Sindh government.

He lauded the role of KPC towards the cause of democracy.

Naimatullah regretted that the ownership rights of KPC have not been accorded as yet and declared that this problem would be got resolved on priority.
