Journalist’s murder condemned
Speakers at a protest meeting held the establishment responsible for what they termed to be the continuous target killing of journalists across the country.
This consensus was reached at a protest meeting of the Karachi Union of Journalists (KUJ) on Tuesday held at the Karachi Press Club (KPC) with KUJ president Khursheed Tanveer in the chair.
The protest meeting was held in connection with the murder of Quetta based journalist of Weekly Akhbar-e-Jehan, Jang group, Dr Chishti Mujahid.
The meeting adopted various resolutions while holding the government responsible for the killing and demanded that government should shoulder its responsibilities in providing protection to the lives and property of the journalists.
