Journalists lash councilor remarks
RAWALPINDI (Online): Rawalpindi Islamabad Union of Journalists on Tuesday condemning the remarks made by Rawal Town Councilor Rana Sohail Pasha against the journalists have termed the remarks as offensive and derogatory A Meeting of press club chaired by vice president Jamil Ahmed Mirza was held at Rawalpindi Press Club.
Afzal Bhut, Jehangir Minhas, Saqlain Abbas, Gulzar Saqi, Ali Akhtar Khan and Aziz Malik attended the meeting. During meeting, it was demanded of the PPPP to take stern action against the attitude of Rana Sohail Pasha.
Union of Journalists condemned the remarks of the councilor and said that no voice against the noble profession of journalism would be tolerated.
They threatened to hold protest if PPP did not take action against the councilor.
