Journalist’s house raided

Karachi Aug 21: The house of a journalist in the Baghdadi area of Karachi was raided on Tuesday by policemen in plainclothes.

According to Nadir Shah Adil, he was on duty when eight to 10 men wearing bullet-proof jackets barged into his house.

The intruders misbehaved with members of his family, manhandled the children and kept asking the whereabouts of Jaingo.

The armed men remained in the house for more then 45 minutes and kept harassing the family.

The Karachi Union of Journalist has condemned the incident and demanded an inquiry.
