Journalists flay attack on colleague
HYDERABAD- A protest rally was brought out by Hyderabad journalists against attack on a senior Journalist Abdul Hafeez Abid here on Wednesday. The protest rally which was led by the president of Hyderabad Press Club Lala Rehman Samoon, started from Press Club and marched on SSP Office Road, Radio Pakistan, Hyder Chowk, Goal Building and terminated at Press Club.
The participants of the rally were wearing black-bands and remained silent throughout the rally to make it a peaceful one. President Press Club Hyderabad Lala Rehman Samoon while addressing the rallv expressed his gratitude to the participants for registering their concern in peacefuI manner.
He appealed to the local administration to take prompt action for the arrest of accused involved in attack on Hafeez Abid in which he was injured.
