Journalist kidnapped for ransom

NAUSHAHROFEROZE: Armed men kidnapped a local journalist near Moro city on late Tuesday night. Zafar Tagar, vice president of the Naushahroferoze Press Club, was on his way from Moro to Naushahroferoze when the highwaymen kidnapped him on gunpoint.

Haji Ghulam Ali Tagar, the brother of the kidnapped journalist, told The News that his brother had informed the police and other higher authorities concerned in written about the danger he faced as he was receiving life threats from unknown callers. The dacoits have demanded 0.8 million as ransom for the release of the journalist.
