Journalist dies in road accident
MULTAN- Editor of an Urdu daily died and his driver seriously injured when his car overturned after hitting a roadside tree near Basti Keekarwali in the morning.
Ghulam Rasul Maral, Editor Urdu Daily ‘Karnama’, Lodhran Vehari was going to Lodhran from Multan in his car. When it reached Basti Keekarwali, on Multan-Bahawalpur road, its tie-rod got dislocated and the car went out of the control of the driver. The car hit a roadside tree and turned turtle.
Ghulam Rasul Maral and his driver sustained serious injuries. Later, Mural died on his way to hospital. His Namaz-e-Janaza will be offered in Mumtazabad, Multan.
