Journalist attacked
SANGHAR, May 02 2006: A senior journalist and treasurer of Tando Adam Press Clud and his employee were wounded when a gang of 12 armed persons struck at his shop in tando Adam. The bandits wounded journalist Syed Bashir Hassan Shah and his employee Ali Mohammad Chaniho with sticks and pistol butts and later escaped after firing in the air.
Later, Tando Adam Town Police Station on complaint of Syed Bashir Hussain Shah against 12 persons including Hazoori, Jumman, Rasool Bux of the Katiar community and 9 unidentified persons.
The injured journalist Bashir Shah and his employee Ali Mohammad were admitted to hospital while the police raided at village Shesh Mahal and village Ghazi Khan Katiar to arrest the accused persons.
