JI demo flays blasphemous sketches

KARACHI (PPI) – After blasphemous cartoons making and releasing profane film “Fitna” is the actual terrorism instead of “freedom of expressions”.

It divulges the real and brutal face of the western society. Insulting our Holy Prophet and Holy Book “Quran” is not acceptable to any Muslim. All Muslim leaders, OIC and new Pakistani Parliament must take stern notice of this profane act, said Jamat-e-Islami leaders addressing a protest demonstration against blasphemous film released by Dutch Member of Parliament, here at Gulbarg Chowrangi. The participants marched from Quba Mosque towards Gulberg Round-about.

Amir Jamat-e-Islami Sindh chapter Maulana Asadullah Bhutto, General Secretary Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, President Jamiat Ittehad-e-Ulema Karachi Maulana Abdul Rauf, former Town Nazim North Nazimabad Fashiuddin Siddiqui and former MP A N asrullah Shaji and others addresses the congregation.
Participants holding different banners like, “Actual Terrorist is America and West not the Muslims”, “Insulting Quran is not tolerable”, “We demand Muslim Leaders to be the servants of Muhammad (SAW) not America”.

Addressing the rally Asadullah Bhutto further said, “First 17 Newspapers publish blasphemous cartoons twice as a test case and now Holland moves a step forward by making the profane against Islam. It looks like a pre-planned strategy of the West to provoke Muslims and label them as terrorists.

JI leader Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said West is continuously insulting the source of Muslim faith but can never be successful in achieving their goals.
