‘Jang Group role similar to media role in US’

ISLAMABAD: US Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Michael Mullen has appreciated the media role of the Jang Group in tremendous manner.
In an interview with The News at the residence of US ambassador here on Wednesday, Mullen said that the role of the Jang Group is extremely important with regard to the freedom of press and the Jang Group is literally performing media role just as media is playing its role in the US. Mullen said that in his point of view to find true news and disseminate it to the public is vital in Pakistan like other democratic countries because in this way the people come closer to each other.
