Jang, Geo and Mindshare sign agreement
KARACHI, July 28 2006: The Jang Group, Geo Television and Mindshare (on behalf of Unilever Pakistan) signed a three-year strategic partnership agreement on July 27 for the Lux Style Awards. Sarmad Ali, Managing Director Marketing Jang Group and Sohail Ansar, Chief Executive Officer Mindshare signed the agreement. On the occasion, Chairman Unilever Pakistan Musharraf Hai said that partnerships were needed to move forward in the corporate world. “It would take LSA into a new dimension and set new standards in the industry,” she said and added that Lux Style Awards would get better reach in the country with the Jang Group/Geo platform.
Sohail Ansar said that this partnership would benefit both Lux and the Jang Group and at the end of the day it would be a win-win situation for both organisations. The agreement would leverage the strengths of both the companies, he added. Imran Aslam, President Geo TV Network, Shazia Syed, Director Marketing Unilever and Nariman Siddiqui, General Manager Corporate Affairs Unilever were also present on the occasion.
