Jabbar felicitates new All Pakistan Newspaper Society (APNS) office-bearer
ISLAMABAD- The Adviser to the Chief Executive on National Affairs, and Media Development, Javed Jabbar has felicitated the president and all other office bearers of All Newspaper Society for their election for the year 2000-2001.
In his individual messages addressed to Mir Shakil-ur-Rehman, Jamil Azhar, Zia Shahid, Arshad Zubairi, Waqar Yousaf, Azeemi and Qazi Aslam, he said, “Your election to this important position is a reflection of the confidence and which is reposed in your esteemed self by your colleagues in the print media sector. “Your contribution to the leadership and policy dimensions of All Pakistan Newspaper Society (APNS) would help address vital issues and I look forward to working with you in strengthening the foundations and durability of an “independent Press.”
