IT training plan for KMC employees
Karachi: The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) is drawing up a plan to impart up-to-date information technology training to its employees and soon advanced courses will be offered to enhance their working capabilities.
This was stated by the authority’s financial adviser, Amir Khurshid, on Monday. Addressing employees of different KMC departments who have completed a basic office automation and web-designing course at the Computer Training Centre, he inquired about the quality of training imparted to the participants and the facilities being provided to them at the centre.
Khurshid assured the participants of IT courses that the KMC would continue using effective tools of information technology in various departments, and that this training could be used to serve the citizens in a better way. He hoped that the process of imparting computer training to KMC employees, under the supervision of Director Training Fakharuddin, would continue.
