Injuries to newsmen unfortunate: Nisar

ISLAMABAD- Information Minister Nisar Memon described the incident of journalists getting injured in Faisalabad as unfortunate and said the government holds freedom of the press as a cardinal principle.

“It is an unfortunate incident, we are concerned about the well-being of the journalists wounded there and I am in touch with them,” Nisar told the sources. Replying to a question about the inquiry into the incident, the minister said: “It is under way.
